These contemporary speaker units by Q Speakers from New Zealand are actually not just speakers.
Each one of these stylish puppies is a stereo unit with a 90 Watt Class D amplifer built in. (Class D amplifiers require much less power than traditional Class A/B amps so the Q uses less power than a traditional A/B amp).
They’re plug & play stereo units with two audio Ins and a USB out, so you can hook up your laptop, your phone or your iPod.
They’re also made from 10 kilos (22 lbs!) of solid wood (not some cheap veneer) and come in Oak, Maple or Walnut. To complete the quality look of these speakers, they sit on a heavy duty aluminium base.
They would be an incredibly stylish, minimalist stereo solution for apartments or just for anyone who wants their music systems to not just sound good, but also to look great.
These beauties are soon to be featured in Ralph Lauren stores in London, New York & Paris.
I soooo want one. I just can’t work out whether they’re going to be an addition to my Bang & Olufsen 4000s or a replacement for them!
